Order textbooks (Textbook Manager)/District Warehouse

Important:Order Textbooks is available in Textbook Manager v10.5 and higher.

When a site-level user orders textbooks the orders are created, and then sent to the District Warehouse (DW).

Important: To perform these steps, a District Warehouse site must exist and a DW user with access to order textbooks must be defined.

To review orders

Important: District users can see all the information of the District Warehouse, but cannot make changes.

  1. If you are not already in the Orders page, then you need to follow the steps in the blue bar with white letters (above).
    In the Orders page you can see the status of all orders. Orders that are in the Submitted section are orders that need your attention.

Note: If Processing Needed appears, there may be textbook orders that need your attention.

  1. In the Submitted section, go to the order that you want to review, click Edit.
  2. What do you want to do?
    If you want to…Then…
    approve the orderclick Approve and follow the prompts accordingly
    deny the order(s)click Deny All and follow the prompts accordingly
    send the order back for the sender to re-evaluate the order click Revive and follow the prompts accordingly
    save any changes you made to the order click Save
    exit back to the Orders page click Cancel
  3. If you are ready to ship the order, continue to Shipments (Textbook Manager) / District Warehouse.

To view orders, go to View textbook orders.
