Name, define, and manage alternate site type (Textbook Manager)

Important: Only the Destiny Administrator can name this alternate site type (a user‐defined field) and then name and assign each Textbook Manager site, including a textbook warehouse, to a group.

To assign a name to the alternate site type

  1. If you are not in the Update District Sites page, then follow the steps in the blue bar with white letters (above).
  2. Click the Edit District icon.
  3. In the Textbook Management section, go to the Customize User‐Defined Alternate Site Type field, and enter a name.
  4. Click Save.

To define and assign an alternate site type to a site

  1. If you are not in the Update District Sites page, then follow the steps in the blue bar with white letters (above).
  2. Find the site you want to assign to an alternate site to, click the Edit icon.
  3. Find the alternate site type you named in To assign a name to the alternate site type, click the applicable alternate site drop‐down, and select the applicable site type.
  4. If you want to manage your site type, next to site type click Other.... The Manage <site type name> page opens.

    If you want to… Then…
    Create a new alternate site type
    1. In the empty field next to the alternate site type, enter a new site type. Max of 50 characters.
    2. click Save.
    Edit an existing alternate site type
    1. Next to the alternate site type you want to edit, click the Edit <alt site name> icon.
    2. Make changes, click Save.
    Delete an existing alternate site type
    1. Next to the alternate site type you want to delete, click the Delete <alt site name> icon. A confirmation message opens.
    2. To delete the alternate site type, click Save.
  6. When you are done managing your alternate site types, click Save.
