Add or edit funding sources

Update Funding Sources lets you to track resources that were purchased with various funds.

Once you define a list of sources here, a selection list appears in Add Item and in Edit Item, where you can easily choose the correct funding source when cataloging an item.

After designating the funding sources for your resources, you can analyze and report on them by generating a resource Value or Item Status report, limited by Funding Source.

If your funding source information changes from year to year, you may want to describe your funding source as <funding source name> 2006, for example, to distinguish fiscal year changes in this information.

To add a funding source

  1. Click Add Source.
  2. On the Add Funding Source page that opens, enter a name of up to 50 characters.
  3. Click Save.

When you are done adding sources, click Close.

To edit a source, click the edit icon.

To delete a source, click the delete icon.
